Playing fun games and outdoor activities beats sitting in front of a TV or video game! Children and adults get outside by the millions (perhaps, billions!) each day for a few key reasons: Playing outside together with friends and siblings teaches children positive social values (you won’t get from a violent video game about ninja assassins), and it also teaches them leadership principles. The learned skills prepare us for success.

We have a lot of fun—when we're kids—playing outside games. Some of the great ones include: Hide and go seek, Tag (or the suped up version, Jailbreak) Duck-Duck-Goose, and many others.
